Elizabeth Lindsay, wife and mother of two, goes shopping and is in a major accident. She awakens at Stanford Hospital with strangers hovering over her calling her "Kate." She learns to her horror that she perished in the accident and is the organ donor for the first successful brain transplant. Her memories now reside in an eleven-year-old named Kate.

Retired after 30 years service with State of California EDD. Served as Deputy Director of Public Affairs in charge of marketing, publications, event planning, media releases and studio services. After retirement volunteered for two years at Mustard Seed, a school for homeless children. A sequel to Becoming Kate will come out in 2017 titled For the Love of Kate.
