Blinded by the Light brings Tess to New Mexico for a temp assignment. She visits the Lightning Field, an earthworks art installation of 400 lightning rods that create a mesmerizing pattern in the desert at sunset. The peace of the remote locale is disrupted when a fellow visitor turns up dead. Tess must sift clues before a UFO fanatic destroys evidence, a youth blows his brains out, a pregnant friend miscarries, and her own romantic life implodes. Inspired by Springsteen’s song, Tess is Jersey strong. But does she have the wit and will to overcome this killer?
