The calm, peaceful serenity of the Blue Ridge Mountains is once again torn asunder as murder invades the quiet tourist ski resort village of Waurika. This is the hometown of Lily Pennwether, the somewhat frumpy and feisty owner of the local used-book store and sleuth extraordinaire. Having been a part of the unveiling of the murderer on a previous occasion, Lily is certain that she is at least equal to any investigator from the Federal Bureau of Investigation or the local sheriff.

Now it’s neighbor against neighbor as the crimes continue to take place and all are suspect. The FBI and law enforcement are helpless, but not super sleuth Lily and her crew of amateur crime solvers.
