I’m broken. And the only thing I can think to do is go home to Shelburn, Idaho.
But home isn’t the refuge it used to be. Strange things keep happening—calls at midnight, rocks thrown through my window. Maybe it’s just a prankster, but it leaves me feeling uneasy.
Time after time, Officer Mitchell Blake is there to rescue me. He’s a sexy, hardworking cop, and I think he’s into me. But something about him seems off. Is he hiding something, or am I being paranoid?
