Killer With A Heart
In Killer With A Heart, the two teenagers will spark a mob war when Nicky Nails, the son of a New York mobster, leads his multi-racial gang to rob the Deliman’s money drop. His plan calls for Morris ‘Mojo’ Johnson, a black warlord from the rough streets of the South Bronx to distract Elizabeth, the mob boss’s daughter. Even though Nicky warns his friend not to, Morris seduces the mobster’s daughter whom he feels disrespected him. Mojo further complicates matters by killing the Deliman. The boys are immediately marked for death by the rival mob family and war ensues. In Killer With A Heart, the two teenagers transcend the racial and cultural differences of the seventies and build a true friendship out of blood, bombs, and bullets. Morris teaches Nicky that to rise to the top of the underworld he must be more than a thief; he must become a killer. And Nicky changes Morris from a lone killer to a true family member. This is a coming of age story in the dark world of organize crime and street gangs. This is the first novel in the Killer Series. Think of it as a cross between Good Fellows and Menace to Society.
