David Mathews lives in River Hills, Wisconsin with Clare, his wife of ten years, and Dave, their neurotic, shoe-chewing Wheaten Terrier. Having forsaken past skullduggery, he now enjoys his extended family of seven children and nine grandchildren. When not writing, Mathews spends his time tinkering with an old Porsche, a 1950 Dodge truck, and an antique wooden sailboat.
