While closing a time fold spawned by their victory over Ms. Morgan, Penny encounters a knot in time. The only way she can break it is by releasing a never before seen red time strand. Shortly afterward, Piper Falls is plagued by a series of baffling events, each preceded by the appearance of a mischievous elf-like man from Celtic legend known as the Coch Coblyn.

Stumped, the Deputy Sheriff seeks help from his good friend, Darin Kolchak, a paranormal investigator. Compounding the mystery is the discovery of a prehistoric artifact intertwined with Seneca myth and Master Poe's past. The sole survivor from the civilization that created the artifact travels in time to retrieve it and save his people from the cataclysm that destroyed them.

Penny and her friends race to unravel the secrets of the artifact. Which of the new arrivals can they trust? Who will make the ultimate sacrifice to protect our world from the power of The Silver Scepter?

About Armen Pogharian (Rochester, New York Author)

Armen Pogharian

Unlike many authors, Armen was not an early reader. He can honestly say that he didn’t voluntarily read a book until he finished The Hobbit in sixth grade. After that reading became a vice as he ravenously devoured science fiction and fantasy stories. Taking a more practical approach to college, he earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he was an Honorable-Mention All-American swimmer.

As an officer in the USAF, he quickly found his way into systems development working on top secret ‘Area 51’ projects. (he never saw a single alien dead or alive). He left the service and earned an MBA from the University of North Carolina. He spent a decade riding the internet wave and moving through five different states. His next gig led him to a second generation bio-fuels company – making fuel out of wood chips, corn cobs, and other agricultural waste. A highlight was presenting ideas to jump start the industry to United States House and Senate staffers.

He and his wife live outside Rochester, NY where he finally found time to write those stories that had been bouncing around in his head since high school. His stories mix elements of science and history with a healthy dose of fantasy. When not writing he can be found at a pool (swimming or coaching), playing ukulele, or enjoying the outdoors with his family.
