Lili DeBarbieri’s awarded travel guidebooks for The History Press have chronicled the historical and contemporary film, visual arts and agricultural communities of the Grand Canyon State and the American Southwest.

Her picture books include debut SAND DUNE DAISY (Bower House Books), a Southwest Book of the Year and forthcoming title THE SUN AND MOON TOOK TURNS (Schiffer Publishing). Her writing has also been honored with an Arizona Governor’s Arts Award nomination, the Mountain Plains Library Association’s Literary Contribution Award and residencies at the Pima County Public Library and Sedona Summer Colony.

Lili's writing continues to be featured in a diverse range of publications and media including USA Today, Preservation and Hobby Farms. Originally from Philadelphia, she has traveled extensively across six continents before calling Tucson home. She can be found writing, cooking, and contributing to projects in the arts, environment and historic preservation.
