Becky Carr Imhauser

Becky Carr Imhauser is an author and conference leader. She has written 12 books about Sedalia and Pettis County, MO, history. Her publications include two books to guide churches in preparing for and celebrating historical milestones.

A former magazine and newspaper editor, Becky has published more than 2,500 articles in national periodicals. She also produces curriculum that is distributed nationally and internationally. She is an adjunct college English instructor and publishing consultant. Becky holds a bachelor’s degree in English, a master’s degree in education, and a doctorate degree in education.

Combining her experiencing in publishing and education, Becky frequently makes presentations to conferences and civic groups and leads guided tours of Sedalia. She is a presenter for the Missouri History Speaker’s bureau, sponsored by the State Historical Society of Missouri.
