Clarissa can't sleep, so she tries counting sheep. To her surprise, ten woolly sheep appear in her bedroom. One ewe urges her to try counting pairs of alpacas, but as Clarissa follows instructions and counts alpacas by twos, lamas by fives, and yaks by tens, her situation gets more ridiculous. She can't keep one hundred animals in her room! Could the key to her dilemma lie in subtraction? This whimsical book will tickle funny bones and teach readers about skip counting.
