The Devil and Pastor Gus

Middle-aged Pastor Gus Gospello is obsessed with writing a satire ridiculing Satan’s pride. Satan is obsessed with obtaining Gus’s soul. When the two obsessions collide, Satan destroys almost everything Gus holds dear and tricks him into signing a SouledOut contract. Gus isn’t giving up, though. He has a few tricks of his own. But where will he be when the smoke clears?

The Devil and Pastor Gus is a speculative satire that combines elements of the biblical book of Job, C. S. Lewis's Screwtape Letters, and the short story "The Devil and Daniel Webster." It currently has 44 Amazon reviews with a 4.3 star rating.
