A Life Too Short
'A Life Too Short' is the story of my daughter's life of addiction. It is the story of a horrible existence and of how my daughter became the addiction. It is also the true story of how a mother fought to save her daughter and lost. To some, it is harsh but loving, and to others, it is desperation of love fighting from the depths.
This book is written in the hopes of helping other mothers to know they are not alone in their 'crazy' thoughts in the fight to help their child. In the journey of a child's addiction, there are no crazy thoughts, they are survival thoughts. It is a parent's automatic knee-jerk reaction to help their child and this book can help them realize they are not alone.
These are no longer the days of old, and we need speak out and speak up about drugs and alcohol! We need to take back our children before we lose the next one. Society needs to start talking about the obvious and save our children. Time has come for someone to stand up and make people realize that we can fight with love and try to save our children. The world needs to examine what is going on in this atrocious war with drugs and alcohol. No two addicts are the same. Some hide in fear, and we should push that fear aside and fight the good fight for love.
