Lance Kincaid struggles to discover his past after losing his memory due to wounds suffered in a Civil War battle. His search takes him from Illinois to Bell County, Texas by way of Fort Griffin. With the help of Dr. Barton and Judge Tayler, Lance locates his family ranch only to find out Union Regulators have confiscated the property. With only determination and skill with a gun, he sets out to bring the wrongdoers to justice. His final challenge is a standoff with the hired killer Slade Cannon.
