Bhajans are popular Hindu devotional songs. These are sung during religious festivals, or when people gather to offer worship. They help strengthen devotion in not only those who sing, but those who listen as well. For many of us who are no longer familiar with the traditional scripts of Sanskrit, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada languages, transliterations of bhajans in English help break the language barrier.
