Amelia Thornton is the feisty owner of a school for young ladies who wants her husband to disappear. A grieving detective arrives to investigate when Amelia’s husband does vanish, along with her money. But the detective’s plans go awry. Much later, an odd presence reveals itself to cub reporter Meghan Murphy. Could the spirits inhabiting the town’s cobblestone street lead the women to each other to discover what has remained buried for decades?
