Frank McGarvey and Jim Flanagan are well-known storytellers. They have performed over 1800 times throughout Ohio, Virginia, and Pennsylvania in schools and libraries.The book contains 25 of their audiences' favorite tales.
These stories include ones about a ghost in a school, a girl who is afraid of nothing, a cheerleader who changes her life, a trip to a haunted house, a ghost-busting dog, a hard decision boys must make, and many other tales.

About Frank McGarvey (Columbus, Ohio Author)
Frank McGarvey has been telling stories for more than 20 years. He is very interested in children and reading. He reads to students in schools in Columbus and engages their interest in great children's literature. His CD "Spooky Tales" is a favorite of kids young and old. Frank presented at the Mazza Children's Book Museum at Findlay University. He is known for his ghost stories.
About Jim Flanagan (Co-Author)
Jim Flanagan is a regionally known storyteller. He was runner-up in the National Storytelling Competition in 1999. He has written five children's books, two of which won national awards. Jim currently teaches writing at the James Thurber Writing Academy in Columbus, Ohio, and is the resident storyteller at Columbus's Nationwide Children's Hospital.
