A Veteran of the Cold War era, Warren Martin served in the Infantry, Military Police and Special Forces during his career in the United States Army. When Warren retired from the Army he transitioned into business, and years later made another transition to teaching and writing. Warren is originally from New York City and currently resides in St. Louis where he is pursuing writing, teaching, and support of fraternal, charitable and other organizations.

Warren Martin currently serves as President of the St. Louis Publishers Association (SLPA), a non-profit that provides education and networking opportunities that empower authors and publishers to create, market and sell their books. Founded in 1997, the SLPA serves the needs of an expanding and diverse membership. Some of our members are multi-book publishing pros while others are aspiring authors wondering what it takes to get a book into print – with many others at various stages in between.
