Harry the Horse is an old racehorse who has seen better days. When a family of fleas decides to make Harry their home, things begin to change for Harry.

Mother-and-son team, Irene Alexander and Nathan Hurtado wrote Harry the Horse and the Five Fleas when Nathan was about eight years old. Both are thrilled to publish their story for the entertainment of all readers, young and old. Nathan followed family tradition and became a teacher. He graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri, with a degree in elementary education. Irene continues to teach Spanish on the secondary level.
