Herman the Mouse

Herman is a very smart mouse who lives in a red barn on the hill with Mama and Papa Mouse and all his other barn animal friends. When Papa Mouse finds a delicious treat, one his family hasn't had in a long time, Herman can't resist trying to get it. However, getting it is going to be very, very dangerous! It's in a giant mouse trap!

Then there's Lloyd the barn cat, an old orange barn cat with one ear. A cat everyone avoids. Will Herman be able to figure out how to get this delicious treat and not run into Lloyd?

Children will love to follow along in this fun to read ryhme and search for Herman's little friend, the fuzzy brown spider hidden on every page.

Tammy Seebecker Brown

Tammy Brown is a retired Surgical Technologist who has always spent as much of her free time as possible telling children's stories and working in watercolor and color pencil art illustration. After becoming a Grandmother she decided it was the perfect time to put her stories down on paper for her grandson. She wrote, illustrated and published the first book in her series, "Herman the Mouse" in 2017. The second book in the series, "I'm Sure Glad It's Just Me!", Herman Gets a Baby Brother, has a publish date with Waldorf Publishing in 2019. Her coloring book, "Alex and Amy's Great Adventures", is an adorable coloring book for young children that will be released by Waldorf in May of 2018. It follows two siblings through a rhyming story playing their favorite games, visiting Grandma and Grandpa on the farm and camping in the woods, all with handrawn illustrations for the kids to color.

Tammy also illustrates for other Waldorf authors. Some titles she has illustrated include, Elevator Jones Meets the Wright Brothers, by Dan Soderberg, The Snowman and the Swallow, by Lucy Griffiths and the Mimi's Strategies series by Linda Goudsmit.

In her free time Tammy enjoys spending time with her husband, four children and two grandsons, She likes to work in her several gardens, play the piano and create goumet meals out of leftovers.
