A nine-year-old girl on a picnic with her parents and a friend in the mountains of Crook County, Oregon witness the murder of 3 sheepmen and the slaughter of hundreds of sheep. The girl, Molly, and her parents knew who the killers were but they never admitted it. The killings and secrets affect even the President of the United States.

Patricia Stinson is a Minnesota native. She earned her BA from Augsburg College and her MED from the University of Minnesota. In forty years of teaching, she has experience in a country school, in city schools and a school in the jungles of New Guinea where she had lunch with a cannibal (but she was not on the menu).

She was the first woman in the Columbia Heights Police Reserve where she served for four years. She was a cooperating witness for the FBI in a Ponzi scheme.

She loves animals and enjoys riding English and Western Style, and volunteering.

She has written historical fiction, mystery, a New Guinea memoir, and Bible Studies.
