Somehow it's always about the money; Sharon Saluda, in her junior year at Pisgah College, doesn't have nearly enough of it, and a diploma is her ticket out of the narrow confines of small town life in Jacob's Bluff, NC. When a brief career as a stripper ends badly, a desperate Sharon capitalizes on that most basic of needs, sex, by matching up college coeds with faculty clientele. Risky, sure, but her secret campus enterprise, The Faculty Club, is a big success. Her job description takes a dramatic uptick when Connor Shaw arrives and wants her for his very own--for a very good price, of course. She takes the plunge, body and soul, because this man is gorgeous, ridiculously wealthy, and the sex is extraterrestrial. With money, extravagant gifts, and luxurious travel, her makes hers the best of all possible worlds. But there's always a catch, right?
About Mike Owens (Virginia Beach, Virginia Author)
Mike Owens was born in a small North Carolina town, nearby Winston-Salem being the closest identifiable landmark. He claims to bleed Tar Heel Blue, having received both his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC. He topped off the educational effort with an MFA degree in creative writing from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA.
During his years of medical practice he worked extensively with hospice programs, and his writing themes involve the often-contentious interaction of medical science and medical ethics. His latest work, SCREWED, published by The Wild Rose Press, is his first venture into the world of steamy romance. He lives in Norfolk, VA with wife, Marilyn, and the ghost of their beloved Weimaraner, Molly.
