Silly Sleepytime Poems
Silly Sleepytime Poems provides fun rhyming poems about sleeping and dreaming to entertain, educate, and gently ease early and transitional readers (ages 5-10) into bed for the night. These poems address subjects including bedtime stories, types of beds, pillows, pajamas, alarm clocks, nap time, dreams, dreamcatchers, and the importance of a goodnight kiss.
Resource pages in the back of the book help parents and teachers work with children to expand vocabularies and learn about the science of sleep. Whimsical color illustrations by Oral Nussbaum highlight the poems and add another layer of humor.
