LaTonya Branham

LaTonya M. Branham is a native of Dayton, Ohio. She is the author and editor of CultureSeek: Connecting to African and African American History (1st edition, 2006 and 2nd edition, 2009), Spirit Seek (2007), and The Academic Prayer (2013). She is also a two-time contributing writer to Chicken Soup for the Soul series: Devotional Stories for Women (2009) and Here Comes the Bride (2012). LaTonya earned a Master of Arts degree from Antioch University McGregor and a Bachelor of Science degree from Wilberforce University. She is a Leadership and Change PhD candidate at Antioch University. Her research focuses on adult learners in higher education.

LaTonya is the founder and CEO of Reader2Leader Foundation, and Branham Consulting. She is one of three co-founders of the Dayton Book Expo. In fall 2017, LaTonya received a Trailblazer Excellence in Arts Advocacy Award. She also serves as a college administrator and assistant professor. LaTonya and her husband currently serve in community outreach (First Fruits), literacy, and youth initiatives. Reading and sharing books, and serving as a College Success Coach is an important mission in her life.
