She can't sing and she can't dance, but this Nevada author of dark fiction, L.F. Falconer, has been transforming words into stories since childhood. Growing up in a haunted house fostered her fascination with the unknown and kindled her imagination while she honed her craft with classes in journalism and creative writing. When she has time to relax, she enjoys exploring the roads less traveled, discovering what might lie beyond the next curve.

Falconer is an active member of High Sierra Writers (Reno, Nevada) and a supporting member of the Churchill Arts Council (Fallon, Nevada). Currently, she has published 7 novels and one collection of short stories. She has been published in Weirdbook Magazine and Weeping Cherry International Review. Her novel, The Vagabond's Son, was a finalist in Epic Fantasy in the Readers' Favorite International Book Awards, 2015, and she has garnered several writing prizes from High Sierra Writers, and a flash fiction prize from The Cult of Me (UK).

Nevada born and raised, she enjoys getting off the beaten path with her husband to explore Nevada's ghost towns and mining camps, or lazing about at home with her two senior dogs.
