Years later they met and shared hand-written notes from their life experiences at the same age in different countries.They share in tandem extreme contrasts and striking similarities and put a face on the enemy.
About Margaret Leis Hanna (Columbus, Ohio Author)
Margaret Leis Hanna is a graduate of Grove city (PA) college with graduate studies at University of Pittsburgh and the Ohio State University. A former teacher, she has written children's books for Sprite Press and Zaner- Bloser Educational Publications. While is her first book for general public. She is a member of the Ohio Writer's Guild and National League of American Pen Women.
About Brunhilde Maurer Barron (Co-Author)
Brunhilde Maurer Barron was born in Germany during WWII and shares her life in tandem with Margaret Leis Hanna. They are the same age and write of their growing up years in their respective countries and beyond. The two women met in 1980's and combined hand-written notes of memories. Brunhilde came to America as a wife of an American soldier and lives in Columbus Ohio.
